Log detail

The dialog box displays the detail information for the log entry. To access the "Log detail" dialog box, in the "Log" page on the "Main window", highlight a log entry which you want to display its detail information from the "Logs" list box then click on the "View..." button. Alternatively, in the "Log" page on the "Main window", you can right-click on a log entry then click on the "View..." menu item in the content menu to open the "Log detail" dialog box in order to display the detail information for the log entry. Or double-click on a log entry which you want to display its detail information in the "Log" page on the "Main window" to open the "Log detail" dialog box.

General

The panel displays the basic information for the log event which is recorded in the current log entry.

Category

The feild displays the category of the log event which is recorded in the current log entry, typical values include the "Client", "Server", "Application", "Service", and the "Other".

Date & time

If the log event is checked in the "Log - Setup" page on the "Main window", it will be recorded immediately to the "Log" page on the "Main window" as a log entry when it occurs. the feild displays the time and date that the log event occurred.

Ending state

The feild displays the ending state of the log event which is recored in the current log entry, typical values include the "Success", "Cancel", "Error", "Timeout", "Ignored", "Failed", "Busy", and the "Notification".

Starting

If the log event which is recorded in the current log entry is relative to the unicast/manycast client synchronization operation, the field displays the starting mode of the synchronization operation, typical values include the "Manual", "Periodical", "At the appoint time", "After starting the program", "After establishing dial-up connection", and the "After changing the system clock".

If the log event which is recorded in the current log entry is relative to the "Net Time Server & Client" application startup operation, or the "Net Time Server & Client Service" start operation, the field displays the starting mode of the operation, typical values include the "Manual" and the "Along with Windows".

If the log event which is recorded in the current log entry is relative to the "Net Time Server & Client" application exit operation, or the "Net Time Server & Client Service" stop operation, the field displays the starting mode of the operation, typical values include the "Manual", "Along with Windows", and the "After synchronization".

If the log event which is recorded in the current log entry is relative to the system shutdown operation, the field displays the starting mode of the operation, typical values include the "Manual" and the "At the appoint time".

Protocol

If the log event which is recorded in the current log entry is relative to the client synchronization operation or the server response and broadcast/multicast operation, the field displays the time protocol of the operation, typical values include the "NTP/SNTP", "Time", "UnixTime" and the "DayTime". The "DayTime" value is only avliable when the log event is relative to the server response operation.

Mode

If the log event which is recorded in the current log entry is relative to the client synchronization operation or the server response and broadcast/multicast operation, the field displays the work mode of the operation, typical values include the "Unicast/Manycast" and the "Broadcast/Multicast".

IP mode

If the log event which is recorded in the current log entry is a network access event, the field displays its IP mode, typical values include the "UDP" and the "TCP".

Source

The field displays the source of the log event which is recorded in the current log entry, typical values include the "Application" and the "Service".

Event

The field displays the description of the log event which is recorded in the current log entry.

Detail

The list box displays the detail information about the log event which is recorded in the current log entry.

Close

Click on the button to close the dialog box.

Help

Click on the button to open the help window.
